My name is Paula Jones and I’m an author from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I’m creating this post because I'm producing and directing my first very, very, very short film in the spring of 2025!
I have limited financial resources for this production, which means the budget is lower than low. At the moment, I can afford to pay principal actors $15/hour and background actors $10/hour.
Though this is not a well-paying gig, it can be a nice opportunity for actors who'd like experience or material for their reel.

Title: Here's to the Middle
Synopsis: Val Bridges wants nothing more than to leave Louisiana, move to California, and become a movie star. The moment she graduates, she makes the big move. Armed with a degree, confidence, and determination, she chases her Hollywood dreams!
But a sudden illness upends her life. Before she knows it, Val is back in Louisiana, trying to recover. Here's to the Middle is a glimpse into Val's new life as she heals physically and emotionally.
